The refurbishment at Ashburnham Court in Bedford is now complete
Project Vista update
The refurbishment at Ashburnham Court in Bedford is now complete, with the final section of cladding installed in June. This month we will be holding an event to mark the refurbishment and the improvements made to the building. We hope that as many Ashburnham residents as possible come along to celebrate with us.
The project took a few months longer to complete than planned but has provided a completely new exterior, with improved fire safety, new lifts and new heating and water systems. The electrical supplies to the block have also been renewed all of which will significantly extend the life of this important building.
The refurbishment of Bury Court is going well. New windows are being installed along with a new sprinkler system to improve fire safety within the block. The works remain on course for completion by March 2024.
Finally, planning permission to refurbish five of our flat blocks in Brickhill – Evesham, Frampton, Leighton, Upton, and Westbury Courts – was received earlier this year and our regeneration team are hopeful of starting works by the end of this year. This work will again provide renewed external finishes, making them warmer and more modern looking, together with improved fire safety internally with new sprinkler systems.
If you have any questions about out refurbishment plans at these blocks please email us.
