A welcome from Sunita Parbhakar
Hello,
I'm pleased to introduce your latest edition of Talk magazine.
My role at bpha is Head of Housing Operations. I look after five housing management teams, each covering a different geographical area, plus our Housing Services, Money Advice and Community Engagement teams. Together we are responsible for managing bpha’s rented, leasehold and shared ownership homes and working with those living there. Our aim is for the teams to work together to improve the neighbourhoods that we work in.
A great example of this is the launch of Kingswell Community Café. We’re looking forward to seeing the customers who visit to meet friends, old and new, and enjoy activities, events and services, including money advice. Read more here.
Money Advice manager, Amanda Ryan, is back – this time with some tips for anyone who wants to build savings, including a great offer for free membership of Bedford Credit Union.
One area in which we have supported many customers is domestic abuse. In this edition of Talk you can find out more about our updated Domestic Abuse policy, which explains how we help anyone affected by this. If that’s you, I hope reading it gives you the reassurance you need to reach out to us.
