The bpha Money Advice Team works closely with Bedford Credit Union, which is a not-for-profit financial co-operative, owned and controlled by its members. Its focus is on supporting the community, and we think they do a great job.
Bedford Credit Union offers two different savings accounts for adults. One is instant access, the other is called a ‘lock it away’ account, which is ideal for saving for something specific in the future.
As a bpha customer, we will pay your membership fee so that you can open a savings account. And that is all customers, it doesn’t matter if you don’t live in Bedford.
You can choose to have some of your pay, or your benefits, paid straight into your savings account. And you can have peace of mind that your money is protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
In our experience the Bedford Credit Union team really looks after its customers. Although you can apply and bank online, you can visit the Bedford office to speak with a human too!
