Half term activities

There is a wide range of free activities for families and children to enjoy during half term. If you are looking for outdoor activities, you can visit the Forest of Marston Vale, where you can explore the woodlands and enjoy various activities such as cycling and hiking. And Milton Country Park just north of Cambridge has lakeside pathways and playgrounds to explore. Both have a visitor centre and café.

Indoor activities include visiting the John Bunyan Museum or attending a workshop at the Higgins Bedford Museum. The Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge has half a million beautiful works of art, masterpiece paintings and historical artefacts, enough to keep the family busy for a few hours. And Stockwood Discovery Centre in Luton is one of our favourites – gorgeous gardens, plus the largest collection of carriages in Europe!
