Community hubs and drop-in sessions

Our hub highlight for this edition of Talk is one that launched in Cambridge back in March:

CB1 Community Room Warm Hub: every Thursday, 11am - 1pm, Huxley House, 8 Mill Park, Cambridge, CB1 2FL.

This weekly hub offers free refreshments, a children’s play area, a community piano, games, a community larder and knit and natter. As with all the events we attend, you can also talk to us about any support you need, including Money Advice information.

And if you’re over in Northstowe:

Northstowe Drop-in: Northstowe Town Council runs a weekly Warm Hub at Northstowe Secondary College, Stirling Road, Northstowe, Cambridge, CB24 1DJ. Opening times: Wednesday, 9.30am - 12.30pm and Thursday, 6pm - 8pm.

Your Housing Officers will also be running a drop-in service next to the Warm Hub on the second Wednesday of each month from 11am until 1pm, to have a catch up with you, collect feedback and answer your questions. And Community Engagement Officer Julie Piercey will also be at the Warm Hub to collect your feedback on the Hub and to run a knitting table to keep the younger visitors entertained!
