Welcome to the Spring edition of Talk

The first part of this year has already brought some huge challenges. We saw a rise in coronavirus cases and a national lockdown, children were sent home for home schooling, and non-essential businesses were forced to close their doors yet again. Yet, as spring starts to bloom the schools are back and we’ve reached Step 2 of the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown, with non-essential shops and businesses reopening.

During these strange times I have been extremely proud to be part of the bpha team. Colleagues have pulled together to make sure that our residents remain at the heart of all we do, despite the huge restrictions we’ve had to work within. So, in this edition of Talk, we’re very much business as usual. We showcase some of our Retirement Living accommodation. This is a great option to consider if you or someone you know is looking for a new home with some extra support . We share information about the importance of home contents insurance, and how we marked World Book Day by supporting some children living in domestic abuse shelters.

As always it’s great to hear your what you think of Talk. If you’d like to get in touch and share your views please email us at talk@bpha.org.uk and we will get back to you.

With my best wishes,

Anna Humphries Director of Customers and Services
