Connecting your community

Hello and welcome to Talk,

I’m Paula Worswick, Assistant Director for Risk, Assurance and Sustainability at bpha.

The team is also responsible for ensuring that risks to the organisation and customers are identified and controlled and to provide assurance that we are complying with regulatory requirements including health and safety. The team are also responsible for the Environmental Sustainability Strategy which sets out bpha’s approach to reduce our environmental impacts and improve the outcomes for residents. We hear the word sustainability a lot – in this edition you can find out what it means, how it might affect you, and what bpha does to help ensure a more sustainable future for the communities we serve.

Also in this edition: we know this time of year can be the cause of money worries. Amanda Ryan is here with some guidance on avoiding debt that stays with you into the New Year.

We have some new ways for you to find news, updates and information from bpha – we’re now on Instagram and have our own WhatsApp channel – find out more here.

And with 2026 just around the corner, we’ve heard from a few customers about what they’re looking forward to next year, and some photo highlights from 2025.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy the edition.
