We recently sat down with Ross to chat about being a bpha tenant and what motivated him to become a member of bpha’s Customer Service Improvement Panel.

Where did you grow up and how long have you been a bpha tenant?
I grew up in Banbury (Oxfordshire), before moving to Northamptonshire in 2016. I became a bpha tenant in 2020 in a new build home.
What do you like most about where you live?
There are a few things I like about where I live. The location is perfect for my family, as my wife’s parents live five minutes away, our daughter’s school is nearby and my workplace is a ten-minute walk from my home.
The village is located between two towns and has a real village feel. People are friendly and it feels like a real community.
“I joined SIP to have the opportunity to make a real difference to how bpha is experienced by their customers.”
What made you decide to become an involved customer and a member of the Customer Service Improvement Panel?
I joined SIP to have the opportunity to make a real difference to how bpha is experienced by their customers.
Being able to be involved with changes that push bpha forward and help customers’ voices be heard, was a real factor in joining the team.
Living in a rural area, it can feel that our community was a little underrepresented as customers and I wanted to make sure we were listened and to and make a positive difference.
“I am looking forward to seeing my youngest daughter continue to grow up.”
What do you hope the next twelve months will bring as a panel member and more personally?
In the next 12 months, I am looking forward to continuing being involved in the SIP panel and working with the other great members of the team, along with bpha staff.
All the staff I have met have been welcoming, friendly and very willing to listen to our opinions and take them on board to make a real positive change for customers.
From a personal perspective, I am looking forward to seeing my youngest daughter continue to grow up, spend time with family and travelling as I am lucky enough to have parents that live in warm climates.
