Wootton Vale – retirement living at its best

An exciting new retirement development is set to open its doors in February. Wootton Vale has been designed for the over 55s and offers 24-hour care and a range of facilities, in a popular village setting.

Complete independence

If you enjoy your independence but need some support to manage on your own, then our Wootton Vale scheme could be perfect for you. Here, you’ll not only find an exclusive development of 55 beautifully appointed apartments, but a place that’s been designed to give you all the support you need, now and in later years.

What’s special about Wootton Vale is that you can have all the privacy you want, but with a care package that suits your needs. So whether you need a few hours’ assistance each week or daily support, we’ll work with you to create the right plan. You can be sure of a professional service from a team of qualified, experienced people.

Beautiful homes

Each home comes with a modern kitchen, fitted bathroom, spacious living area, one or two bedrooms and either a balcony or terrace. For added peace of mind, each apartment is fitted with an emergency alarm system, triggered by a pendant or pull cord. This means you can call for help, 24 hours a day. It’s good to know that if you suddenly become ill or have a fall, someone will be on call to help.

On-site you’ll find a residents’ lounge, laundry, hair salon, cafe, scooter room and landscaped gardens. For social activities you could get involved in coffee mornings, bingo and other organised events.

The village itself is a thriving community with a range of facilities on hand.

What’s around

Situated in the picturesque village of Wootton, the development is close to the A421 link road, and is just five miles from Bedford. The 53 bus stops in the village three times a day and will get you into Bedford in half an hour. While the C1 bus service, which runs every hour, will take you into the busy shopping centre of Milton Keynes. There’s a large Sainsbury’s supermarket just four miles away.

The village itself is a thriving community with a range of facilities on hand. There are two shops, three churches, a post office, library, GP surgery, chemist and three pubs serving traditional foods – all just a few minutes’ walk away. If you enjoy social activities, there are sports, crafts and hobby clubs which meet regularly.
