Sign up to better
Do you want additional rights, improved services and the chance to win £100 worth of shopping vouchers? If so, all you need to do is sign a tenancy variation.
What’s a tenancy variation?
A tenancy variation is when one or more terms in your tenancy agreement change following a review.
We’ve made the agreement easier to understand whilst also reflecting current law, up-to-date policies and best practice.
It’s not a new tenancy agreement. You’ll still have all the same tenancy rights that you did when you signed up, as well as the extra benefits of the varied terms shown:
Rent – the option to pay your rent monthly, allowing you to set up a direct debit on a day that suits you to make budgeting easier.
Pets – you can now ask permission to have a pet if you live in a flat, something that you couldn’t do before.
Lodgers – ask permission to have a lodger in your home.
Anti-social behaviour (ASB) – changes to reflect the new powers introduced by the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
Domestic abuse – a new domestic abuse clause, introducing new powers around domestic abuse, coercion and control.
How do I vary my tenancy?
Varying your tenancy is easy. Simply email us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0330 100 0272. We’ll send you a form to sign and return to us in a pre-paid envelope, so there’s no cost to you. Once we’ve received the signed form, you’ll be entered in our monthly prize draw to win £100 worth of high street shopping vouchers.
